The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed two Equal Status complaints by Roberto Alamazani against the WRC, finding them misconceived. The decision was dated 26 August 2021.
Alamazani alleged discrimination in the WRC’s administration of other complaints, including its refusal to postpone a hearing after he said his father had died. His complaints referred to gender, age and race, though the narrative focused on race.
The adjudication officer said Alamazani had provided no evidence linking his treatment to a discriminatory ground and found the claims had no prospect of success. Both complaints were dismissed.
