WRC dismisses five discrimination complaints against itself

The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed five complaints by Roberto Alamazani against the commission as misconceived under section 22 of the Equal Status Acts. The decision was dated 25 August 2021. The complaints alleged discrimination in the administration of other WRC cases. Although the referral forms listed gender, age and race, the narrative referred only to race. The adjudication officer found Alamazani had given no specific acts or evidence linking his treatment to a discriminatory ground and concluded the claim had no prospect of success.
