The Workplace Relations Commission awarded a video producer €3,000 after finding that a digital media company unlawfully delayed his wages. Adjudication Officer Penelope McGrath dated the decision 3 April 2018. The complainant received his September salary late, while his December salary remained unpaid at the January hearing. The company cited cash-flow difficulties. The officer found the delayed September payment was an unlawful deduction and directed the employer to pay €3,000 compensation.
