A bartender’s statutory redundancy complaint failed because the correct respondent was cited in related case ADJ-00010537, where redress had to be sought. WRC Adjudication Officer Catherine Byrne dated the decision 25 April 2018. The bartender worked at a bar and restaurant in Wicklow, which closed in March 2017, and said he had not received a redundancy payment. The adjudicator found he met the service and insurable employment requirements for a statutory payment, but directed him to seek redress in the related case.
