The WRC found that a clerical worker was entitled to statutory redundancy after her employer closed its business. The decision was dated 14 February 2018. The worker was employed from 4 November 2013 to 18 January 2017 and earned €200 gross a week. Her employer gave notice of closure on 4 January 2017 and agreed that a redundancy situation had occurred. The WRC found she qualified based on the facts and relevant contributions paid during the period.
