The WRC ordered a hairdressing salon to pay a hair stylist €740 for failing to provide a written statement of employment terms. The decision was dated 3 May 2018. The salon accepted that it had not provided the statement during the stylist’s employment. The WRC found the complaint well founded and ordered compensation equivalent to two weeks’ pay.
