The WRC ordered a Plastering and Construction company to pay a Plasterer €4,020 in unpaid wages, €417.60 in holiday pay, €360 for two public holidays and €450 compensation for failing to provide written employment terms. The decision was dated 15 May 2018. The WRC also awarded €250 compensation for a working-time breach. The company did not attend the hearing. The WRC found the Plasterer was an employee, based on the work arrangements and mutual obligations. He said he worked 29 days at €180 a day and received €1,200 in wages; the WRC found €4,020 remained unpaid.
