A WRC adjudication officer recommended renewed local discussions between a senior administrator and a financial services company over six complaints about working hours, company procedures, and alleged bullying and harassment. The recommendation was dated 30 January 2018. The administrator alleged discrimination in working hours and failures to follow agreed procedures, including those for bullying and harassment. The company argued that the complaints were premature because internal procedures had not been fully used. The officer said trust needed to be rebuilt and recommended that the parties consider using an independent mediator. If the discussions failed, the administrator could bring the claims back to the WRC.
