The Workplace Relations Commission declared a kitchen porter’s working-time and minimum-notice complaints failed for want of prosecution after he did not attend the hearing. The decision was dated 3 April 2018; the merits were not decided. The worker had claimed unpaid notice or payment in lieu, public-holiday entitlements and annual leave on termination. The respondent, a public house, attended and was available to give evidence.
