The WRC awarded a general operative €1,197 for annual-leave entitlements and compensation for other employment breaches in a decision dated 28 March 2018. The employer did not attend the hearing. The officer awarded €800 for collective-redundancy obligations, €800 for missing written employment terms, €700 for unpaid wages and €112 for public-holiday entitlements. The operative’s unfair-dismissal complaint was withdrawn; the other five complaints were upheld. The awards may be subject to lawful deductions.
