The Workplace Relations Commission found that a sales assistant’s public holiday pay complaint was referred outside the time limit and that it had no jurisdiction to inquire into it; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 20 November 2017. She claimed unpaid entitlements for six public holidays during the first 26 weeks of a period of sick leave. The latest alleged contravention was more than 12 months before she referred the complaint.
