The WRC ordered a recruitment company to pay a worker €72.50 after finding he was not paid the agreed higher rate for class 1 driving. The decision was dated 25 January 2018. The worker had been paid €11.50 an hour for driving class 2 vehicles, then was asked to drive class 1 vehicles at an agreed rate of €13.50. The adjudication officer found he was owed the difference for 15.25 hours, plus holiday pay. The company did not appear at the hearing.
