The WRC upheld two complaints by a Pest control technician over consultation during a business transfer, finding technical breaches but awarding no compensation. The decision was dated 18 December 2017. The technician said he was told about the transfer the day after it happened and later worked from Naas instead of Santry. The adjudication officer found that he continued doing the same job, had no change to his terms and conditions and had not shown that the new base caused him detriment. Both complaints were upheld as technical breaches of the consultation requirements.
