The WRC recommended that a manufacturing company carry out a human resources audit after a workplace dispute involving an office administrator. The recommendation was dated 23 March 2018. The worker alleged harassment by a company director and said the managing director did not respond to her efforts to resolve the conflict. The company denied harassment and said it had introduced formal grievance procedures. The adjudicator did not determine whether harassment occurred. Because the employment had ended, the adjudicator said there was no basis to recommend how to resolve matters in the workplace, but called for an audit to identify necessary management structures and policies.
