A worker’s complaint that a leisure centre withheld a week’s pay failed after the worker did not attend the hearing. The merits were not decided. The worker said the centre withheld the first week’s pay because wages were paid one week in arrears. The leisure centre denied any pay discrepancy and said its auditors confirmed this. The WRC hearing took place on 26 September 2017. Adjudication officer Gaye Cunningham dated the decision 13 November 2017.
