The Workplace Relations Commission awarded an operative €1,460 for minimum notice and €950 for unpaid holiday pay. Both complaints were found well founded in a decision dated 5 December 2017. The operative said he had not received the proper notice payment and was owed 100 hours of holiday pay. The food manufacturer did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer relied on the operative’s credible evidence, awarding four weeks’ pay at €365 a week and holiday pay for 100 hours at €9.50 an hour.
