The WRC ordered a motor company to pay a mechanic €1,250 after finding his written statement of employment terms omitted required information. The decision was dated 5 October 2017. The statement did not give the company’s legal name or the mechanic’s job title, and omitted information about pension provision, minimum notice, collective agreements and relevant statutory instruments. The WRC found the company had breached the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994.
