The Workplace Relations Commission directed a catering company to pay a deli assistant €1,464 for accrued annual leave in the 2016/2017 leave year, €146.40 for the 2017/2018 leave year and €200 compensation. The complaint was declared well founded for both leave years. The decision was dated 27 October 2017. The WRC found that annual leave accrued while the worker was on maternity leave and sick leave. The respondent confirmed the employment and leave history described by the worker.
