A cleaner won all five complaints against a cleaning sector, with the Workplace Relations Commission ordering €190, €417, €349.20 and €360, and recommending €900. The decision was dated 14 September 2017. The worker said she was underpaid for a Safe Pass training day and other hours, was not given written employment terms, and was owed annual leave and public holiday pay. The respondent’s representative conceded the complaints were valid. The WRC found all five complaints well-founded. It ordered payments for the wage, annual leave and public holiday complaints, and recommended compensation for the missing written terms.
