The WRC found it had no jurisdiction to hear four claims by a restaurant worker against a former director of a dissolved company, so the claims were not upheld. The merits were not decided. Adjudication Officer Pat Brady dated the decision 14 September 2017. The claims concerned redundancy, minimum notice, written employment terms and annual leave. The officer found the original company that operated the business had been dissolved and the former director was not properly a respondent and had no personal liability for its debts. The former directors had agreed to help the complainants apply to the Social Insurance Fund.
