By Ruairí Dolan

Workplace Relations Commission ·

The WRC did not uphold four claims by a restaurant worker against a former director of the dissolved company that had employed the worker. Adjudication Officer Pat Brady dated the decision 14 September 2017; the merits were not decided. The claims concerned redundancy, employment information, wages and working time. The officer said the former directors had no personal liability for the company’s debts and agreed to help the workers apply to the Social Insurance Fund.
