The Workplace Relations Commission upheld a sales assistant’s redundancy, minimum-notice and annual-leave claims against Ladies Fashions. The decision was dated 23 October 2017. She was entitled to statutory redundancy payments, four weeks’ minimum notice worth €1,624 and €406 for four days of annual leave. Ladies Fashions went into liquidation on 19 October 2015, when her employment ended. The company did not attend the hearing; the adjudicator found the claims well founded on uncontested evidence.
