The WRC found a sales assistant entitled to statutory redundancy, minimum notice and the balance of her annual leave after her employer went into liquidation. Adjudication Officer John Walsh dated the decision 23 August 2017. The redundancy lump sum was based on her service and gross weekly wage of €580.13, subject to social welfare requirements for PRSI contributions. She was also entitled to minimum notice and the balance of her annual leave. Her representative claimed €2,320.52 for minimum notice and €928.13 for annual leave pay. The employer did not attend the hearing.
