A worker is entitled to a statutory redundancy lump sum, minimum notice and the balance of her annual leave after the ladies’ fashion retailer that employed her went into liquidation. The WRC decision was dated 24 August 2017. The worker was a sales assistant for 14 hours a week, earning €126.63 a week. The redundancy lump sum was based on her employment dates and weekly wage and was subject to PRSI requirements.
