The WRC rejected a recruitment consultant’s working-hours complaint against an employment agency in a decision dated 24 August 2017. The adjudication officer found that the agency had failed to keep records of her hours but that her evidence did not reliably support the hours claimed. The consultant said she regularly worked extra weekday and weekend hours without additional pay. The agency disputed the amount claimed and said it had paid her for 20 working days of additional hours after she resigned.
