The WRC dismissed an account manager’s redundancy-payment complaint after finding that he unreasonably refused a suitable alternative job. The decision was dated 24 August 2017. The proposed role was at the same site, on the same pay and hours, and involved generally similar work. The officer found the changes to the role were relatively minor and that the manager was not entitled to a redundancy payment.
