The Workplace Relations Commission directed a construction company to pay a Welder €300 compensation for working-time breaches, as well as €38.21 in accrued annual leave and €288 for three public holidays. The decision was dated 26 October 2017. The Welder said he had not received annual-leave pay when his employment ended or entitlements for public holidays in December 2016 and January 2017. The company did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer accepted the Welder’s uncontested evidence and found the complaint well founded.
