The WRC recommended that a worker at a manufacturing company share the Sunday-night and Monday-morning shift with three other day-shift chemical technicians. They could rotate it one week in four or cover all such shifts for one month in four. The worker’s union had sought a 33% premium for all hours on the unusual roster. The WRC said the premium should apply only to the night hours, and recommended the four-person roster as a workable way to spread the shift. The recommendation was dated 31 May 2017.
