The WRC recommended a face-to-face meeting between a postal operative and a postal company after complaints about CCTV use and the operative’s treatment by his manager. The recommendation was dated 15 November 2017. The officer accepted the company’s explanation for reviewing CCTV footage and was not convinced the working leader had monitored the operative. The officer noted management’s position that the working leader had acted wrongly in his interactions with the operative, and recommended a meeting with a union official and a company executive or HR manager to help restore a normal working relationship.
