The Workplace Relations Commission recommended that a cleaner return to a five-day, two-hour schedule at a school. The decision was dated 16 November 2017. The cleaner wanted to work four days a week for two and a half hours a day. The school said staff should not work alone for safety and security reasons. The adjudication officer accepted that reasoning and recommended that she work alongside another cleaner. The officer dismissed her Payment of Wages claim, finding that the €200 Christmas bonus and €400 summer bonus had been paid. Her complaint under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act was withdrawn.
