The WRC awarded an employee €3,000 net after finding that a project management and property development company had failed to pay six weeks’ wages. The decision was dated 9 June 2017. The worker said he worked full time for seven weeks and received only one week’s pay at the agreed rate of €500 net a week. The company did not attend the hearing or respond to the complaint. The adjudication officer found for the worker on his Payment of Wages Act complaint. He declined to consider additional terms of employment and working time claims raised at the hearing because they were not included in the original complaint.
