A supervisor was entitled to statutory redundancy and minimum notice after a restaurant closed without warning in July 2016. The WRC decision was dated 4 September 2017. The supervisor had worked at the restaurant for more than six years, and the company was in liquidation. Both entitlements were based on a start date of 6 August 2011, a termination date of 18 July 2016 and gross weekly pay of €429. The redundancy entitlement was subject to verification of insurable employment.
