The WRC found an accounts manager’s constructive dismissal complaint against food services was not well founded. The decision was dated 31 August 2017. She said a proposed change to her client responsibilities and unresolved concerns, including a bullying allegation, led her to resign. Food services said there was no contractual change, offered mediation and an independent investigation, and invited her to explore other roles in the group. The adjudication officer found no breach of contract and said she had not acted reasonably by resigning without pursuing the offered investigation or submitting her CV for other roles.
