A shop supervisor won a redundancy entitlement and two holiday-pay awards after her shop closed, the WRC found in a decision dated 14 November 2017. The adjudication officer awarded €900 for 10 days of annual leave and €180 for two public holidays. She was also entitled to a redundancy lump sum, subject to statutory eligibility and insurance conditions. Her claim for notice pay under the Payment of Wages Act was not well founded because that Act did not provide for notice payments.
