The WRC awarded a scientist €8,945.53 in unpaid wages after the respondent failed to attend the hearing. The decision was dated 14 June 2017. The scientist said no wages had been paid from June 2016 until the contracts ended in September. The adjudicator accepted the uncontested evidence and found the Payment of Wages claim well founded.
