The Workplace Relations Commission ordered a contract cleaning company to pay a cleaner €342.42 in unpaid holiday pay and a further €100 compensation after finding his complaint well founded. The decision was dated 21 July 2017. He said he received no annual leave or pay in lieu during his 15 weeks’ employment. The company did not attend the hearing or submit a defence. The adjudicator found that he had worked 439 hours and was owed the leave payment.
