The Workplace Relations Commission awarded a waitress €680 after finding her complaint about missing written employment terms well founded. The respondent did not attend the hearing. Adjudication Officer Emer O’Shea dated the decision 4 July 2017. The worker said she was employed from March to October 2016 and had not received written terms and conditions. The WRC accepted her uncontested evidence and ordered the respondent to pay compensation within 42 days.
