The WRC awarded a kitchen assistant €100 after finding her complaint about late provision of written employment terms well founded. The decision was dated 24 August 2017. The public house and restaurant admitted the contract had not been provided on time, saying employment matters were later regularised after engagement with NERA and a copy was sent in October 2016. The WRC said the breach was technical, the contract had since been provided and there had been no major material detriment.
