The WRC awarded a sales assistant €152.10 for lost Sunday pay and €350 compensation for breaches involving Sunday work and breaks. The decision was dated 19 April 2017. The WRC found the assistant should have received €10.80 an hour for Sunday work and that he missed breaks on Sundays and on 17 September 2015. His weekly-rest complaint concerned an infraction outside the period the WRC could investigate. The WRC found no contractual entitlement to overtime rates, so the Payment of Wages complaint failed. The minimum-notice complaint had already been adjudicated under another case.
