The WRC found that an account manager’s unfair dismissal and bullying and harassment complaints against a logistics company were not well founded. In a decision dated 14 June 2017, it found the dismissal followed fair procedures after he was dismissed for gross misconduct over expense claims, including receipts he had made himself. The separate Industrial Relations Act complaint also failed. The worker had referred the dispute before completing the company’s internal grievance process.
