The WRC awarded a cleaner €1,314 in unpaid wages after the facilities company failed to attend the hearing. Adjudication Officer Michael McEntee dated the decision 24 July 2017. The cleaner said he had worked 119.5 hours at €11 an hour and remained unpaid. The officer accepted his account based on his oral evidence and limited written records, and directed payment within four weeks, subject to normal taxation.
