The WRC ordered a restaurant to pay a waitress €6,705.30 in redundancy compensation after finding the complaint well-founded. The decision was dated 15 May 2017. It also ordered €232.50 for unpaid wages, €239.20 for annual leave, €697.50 for public holidays and €1,395 for minimum notice. The restaurant did not attend the hearing, and the officer relied on uncontested evidence.
