The Workplace Relations Commission recommended €300 net compensation for a worker after administrative shortcomings in the handling of her workplace payment application. The decision was dated 9 February 2017. The employer said it applied the Critical Illness Protocol as amended by a Labour Court recommendation. The officer found administrative shortcomings and said the employer had made good on the human error that led to the worker not being paid in June.
