The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed a shop manager’s complaints about unpaid hours and working time on 16 June 2017. It found he had no contractual entitlement to extra wages, determined his own working time for the breaks complaint and received his full holiday entitlement. The manager said he worked extra hours without pay, could not take breaks and was owed more holiday pay. The charity said his contracted hours were paid, he controlled his hours and breaks, and he had received his holiday entitlement. A separate complaint about holidays on termination was withdrawn.
