The WRC found a primary-school principal’s working-hours and employment-terms complaints not well founded, and said it lacked jurisdiction over his industrial-relations dispute. The decision was dated 15 June 2017. The principal said his administrative-principal role had been withdrawn and that he worked more than 60 hours a week. The WRC found insufficient evidence to support the hours complaint. It also found the school was the incorrect employer for the terms complaint. The principal lacked standing to bring the industrial-relations dispute because he was a national-school teacher; the merits of that dispute were not decided.
