The WRC awarded a bartender €2,000 after finding that his employer breached the average 48-hour weekly working limit. The decision was dated 13 December 2017. The worker said he had been required to work more than 48 hours a week between 15 October 2015 and 24 April 2016. Timecards and payslips showed that he exceeded the limit from 24 August to 23 December 2015. The WRC could not make a definite finding about the final four-month period because payslips to verify the timecards were unavailable.
