The WRC found a Product Assembler’s complaint about a disciplinary warning and possible bonus loss not well founded. Adjudication Officer Joe Donnelly dated the decision 7 November 2016. The worker said the warning followed changes to production targets under a procedure that was not part of his employment terms. He was concerned it could disqualify him from a 2016 bonus. The medical manufacturer said he had manually changed production records and that the bonus depended on plant performance and the scheme rules. The officer found that setting production targets was an administrative matter outside the Act. The officer also found the incentive scheme rules had been agreed and circulated to staff. The complaint failed.
