The WRC awarded a worker €2,340 in minimum notice pay after finding her complaint well founded. The decision was dated 3 May 2016. She said she received notice of termination when the business ceased trading and was not paid six weeks’ notice. She had worked for the employer for 11.5 years, earning €13 an hour for 30 hours a week.
