The WRC found that an engineer’s constructive dismissal complaint was not well founded. Adjudication officer Eugene Hanly dated the decision 26 April 2016. The engineer said he resigned after workplace relationship problems and an escalating disciplinary investigation. The transport company said it had addressed earlier complaints, changed reporting arrangements and offered him a chance to use its grievance process. Hanly found that the engineer had not shown the company’s conduct left him with no option but to resign, and that he had not given it an opportunity to address his concerns.
