The WRC rejected ten Drivers’ complaints that a transport company failed to give 24 hours’ notice of their finishing times. The decision was dated 19 January 2018. The Drivers said they learned their finishing time only after reporting for work each day. The company relied on a Labour Court decision about task-and-finish work, where finishing times depend on workload and pace. The WRC found there was no breach because those finishing times could not be determined in advance.
